Group C — 2024 T20 World Cup
13 June 2024 · Brian Lara Stadium, Trinidad
Result: AFAfghanistan — Afghanistan won by 7 wickets. PNPNG 95 all out (19.5 ov), AFAfghanistan 101/3 (15.1 ov). 13 June 2024 · Brian Lara Stadium, Trinidad.
The initial fetch reported Afghanistan's toss decision as "elected to bat", but PNG batted first (all out for 95) and Afghanistan chased 101/3 -- so Afghanistan's toss decision was necessarily to field, not bat; corrected as a straightforward logical deduction from the confirmed batting order rather than a new external source.
