Country history

East Africa was a now-defunct composite team drawing players from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia, assembled for the inaugural 1975 Cricket World Cup. It was the side's only appearance on the international stage; the composite team never played again after that tournament, and each constituent nation has since built its own separate cricket structure (Kenya's being by far the most internationally prominent of the four).
