Franchise history
Delhi Capitals have reached all four WPL finals played to date and lost every one — Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have won two titles each. A separate, smaller precursor exhibition event, the Women's T20 Challenge (2018-2022, 2-3 teams), ran before the WPL launched in 2023 and is not part of this table — a genuinely different competition, not an earlier WPL season.
