EFL Cup
English league clubs' secondary knockout cup competition, first played in 1960-61.
Sourcing caveat: Extensive sponsor-naming history across its life: Milk Cup, Littlewoods Challenge Cup, Rumbelows Cup, Coca-Cola Cup, Worthington Cup, Carling Cup, Capital One Cup, a brief unsponsored spell, and Carabao Cup since 2017 (renewed to 2029). Any season-by-season record should note the sponsor name in effect that year, not apply the current name retroactively.
Full season-by-season results for the EFL Cup haven't been built out yet — this page exists so the Football competitions directory doesn't link to a dead end. It will be filled in with real, sourced results as the build order reaches this competition. See the full Football competitions directory or About & Methodology for the current build order.
