UEFA Champions League

Europe's premier inter-club competition; reformatted from a pure knockout among domestic champions into the group-stage "Champions League" from the 1992-93 season.

Sourcing caveat: Not an English competition — a UEFA-wide competition that English clubs merely qualify for and participate in, on the same continuous-competition/rename basis as the Premier League's own 1992 rebrand (treat as one history, not two).

Full season-by-season results for the UEFA Champions League haven't been built out yet — this page exists so the Football competitions directory doesn't link to a dead end. It will be filled in with real, sourced results as the build order reaches this competition. See the full Football competitions directory or About & Methodology for the current build order.
