Women's Super League

Top tier of English women's league football, launched by the FA in 2010-11 as a summer league before moving to the standard winter football calendar in 2017-18.

Sourcing caveat: Governance history independently re-confirmed: no longer an FA-run competition as of 2026. The pre-2011 FA Women's Premier League National Division (1991-2010) was a separate, earlier top tier, not simply an older name for the WSL.

Full season-by-season results for the Women's Super League haven't been built out yet — this page exists so the Football competitions directory doesn't link to a dead end. It will be filled in with real, sourced results as the build order reaches this competition. See the full Football competitions directory or About & Methodology for the current build order.
