1922 NFL Season — Final Standings

Final standings for the league's first season under its new name, the National Football League (renamed from the APFA on June 24, 1922). The Canton Bulldogs won a clean, undisputed, undefeated title (10-0-2), needing no tiebreaker or league vote. Decatur/Chicago's Staleys officially became the Chicago Bears this season. Among the era's more unusual entries: the Oorang Indians, an all-Native-American roster fielded as a marketing vehicle for a dog-kennel company, featuring Jim Thorpe.
