Great Britain Lions Tour
The mirror-image touring format to the Kangaroo Tour — Great Britain's national team touring Australia and New Zealand (occasionally Papua New Guinea), playing tour matches around the Ashes Tests. The first tour, in 1910, "set the pattern" for the alternating GB-Australia touring rivalry. Tours became rarer from the 1990s; the most recent, in 2019, was explicitly billed as a comeback attempt.
