Italian Rugby League Championship
Italy's amateur domestic competition, run across three regional conferences (north, central, south) following the sport's Italian revival in the 1990s.
Sourcing caveat: A dedicated research pass (14 Sep 2026) confirmed this competition is genuinely too thinly and inconsistently sourced to publish a confident champions list: only two partial results were found (2010 and 2016), and a structural complication was uncovered — Italy has had two rival, independently-run rugby league federations (FIRL and a breakaway IRFL/FIRFL) since 2010, so results attributed to "the Italian championship" in press coverage don't reliably specify which. Remains planned pending access to FIRL's own site history pages, which block automated fetching.
Full season-by-season results for the Italian Rugby League Championship haven't been built out yet — this page exists so the Rugby League competitions directory doesn't link to a dead end. It will be filled in with real, sourced results as the build order reaches this competition. See the full Rugby League competitions directory or About & Methodology for the current build order.
