Name history
Rugby league history
Oslo's historic athletics stadium, used between 2011 and 2017 as the de facto home ground of the Norway national rugby league team for Nordic Cup and European Shield/Bowl fixtures against Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the Czech Republic. Seven matches are recorded; no crowd figures survive for any of them.
World-famous as an athletics venue — the site of numerous mile and middle-distance world records. Rugby league's use of it was a minor, once-a-year international fixture slot rather than a primary rugby ground.
