Name history
Rugby league history
This municipal sports centre in Neder-Over-Heembeek, Brussels, served as the Belgium national rugby league team's de facto home ground in the mid-2010s. All three recorded matches were Belgium internationals: a narrow 2014 friendly loss to Spain, a 2014 Tri-Nation Challenge Cup win over the Netherlands, and a further win over the Netherlands in 2016, reflecting the close rivalry between the two developing rugby league nations under the Rugby League European Federation. It is fundamentally a general-purpose community sports complex rather than a purpose-built rugby venue, and no domestic club tenancy is documented.
