Fritz Grunbaum Sportpark
Karlsruhe (Heidelberg), Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Fritz Grunbaum Sportpark, Karlsruhe (Heidelberg), Germany — opened 1996, 6 rugby league games hosted, home of Germany national rugby league team — no permanent rugby league tenant; the ground is otherwise home to rugby union club RG Heidelberg.
Sourcing caveat: Most sources spell this ground 'Fritz-Grunebaum-Sportpark' (after Fritz Grunebaum, founder of the Karin Grunebaum Cancer Research Foundation — not a rugby figure); this entry keeps the 'Fritz Grunbaum' spelling used by data/venues.py and Rugby League Project. It sits in Heidelberg-Kirchheim; Rugby League Project's own location field ('Heidelberg, Karlsruhe') is geographically imprecise, as Karlsruhe is a separate city roughly 20km away.
