Name history

    Rugby league history

Gladsaxe Stadion in Soborg, primarily a football venue whose main tenant is Akademisk Boldklub, has hosted Denmark national rugby league team fixtures in the Nordic Cup and against Malta between 2011 and 2014, including both Denmark's biggest-ever win (122-8 over Sweden, 2012) and its biggest-ever defeat (12-74 to Malta, 2012). The site directory records a last year of 2017, but independently re-verified via direct WebFetch of the venue's own results table, no fixture later than August 2014 is recorded there; the discrepancy is disclosed rather than resolved. Rugby league remains a minor, developing sport in Denmark, reflected in modest recorded crowds of 313 to 500.
