Name history
Rugby league history
This venue hosted three Sweden national rugby league team fixtures: a 2011 Nordic Cup loss to Denmark, and two 2018 friendlies, a loss to the Netherlands and a heavier loss to Norway. Gothenburg was an early hub for Swedish rugby league, with the Spartacus Reds club hosting the country's first-ever rugby league international in 2010 -- though whether that is the same ground as this Rugby League Project entry, named simply 'Gothenburg Rugby Association', could not be confirmed from any source, and is disclosed as an unresolved identity question rather than assumed.
