Ground facts
| Opened | around 2008-2009 (This site's area field reads East Thrace, inherited directly from Rugby League Project's own location data for the venue rather than a site-specific error; it is geographically defensible, since Istanbul's European side (where the Ayazaga campus sits) is indeed part of the historical region of Eastern Thrace, though most general sources would simply say Istanbul. A minor date discrepancy exists for the 2022 double-header: three sources (Rugby League Project, European Rugby League's own preview, and Wikipedia) agree on 25 September 2022, while one outlet gives 28 September; the weight of evidence favours 25 September.) |
