Rugby league history

One of several Belgrade venues used by the Serbia national rugby league team, alongside FK Radnicki Novi Beograd, Ada Ciganlija Stadium and FK Obilic, for World Cup qualifiers and European Championship fixtures. Rugby league was first introduced to Serbia (then Yugoslavia) in 1953, suppressed under Yugoslav authorities from 1964 (clubs forced to switch to rugby union), and formally revived with a reformed federation in 2001.

Primarily football (FK Milicionar).
