Sourcing caveat: Rugby League Project's own record of this match (Russia 6, France 66, attendance 2,000) does not align in date or score with either of the two 1992 France vs CIS fixtures listed on Wikipedia's Russia national team results page; this discrepancy was confirmed via direct re-fetch of the venue's results page and is disclosed rather than resolved, since it is unclear whether these are the same match under different team names or genuinely separate fixtures.

Rugby league history
Rugby League Project records one match at Stade Azik: Russia lost 6-66 to France on 15 June, in a Senior International fixture with an attendance of 2,000, falling in the earliest period of organised rugby league in Russia shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union, when France toured the fledgling Russian side as part of the sport's expansion into the former USSR. This could not be fully cross-referenced against Wikipedia's list of Russia national team results, which instead records two 1992 fixtures between France and a side named CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) with different dates and scores (18 June: CIS 8-28 France; 11 November: France 38-4 CIS) -- an unresolved discrepancy disclosed rather than silently reconciled.
