Name history
Rugby league history
This is fundamentally a rugby union venue, home to KS Budowlani Lodz, one of Poland's most successful union clubs. It hosted the Poland national rugby league team for three Senior International fixtures across September-October 2019: a win over the Czech Republic, and losses to Sweden and Norway. Poland's amateur rugby league program has no fixed national stadium, so it used this existing floodlit rugby-marked pitch rather than a dedicated rugby league ground; no further rugby league matches are recorded here after 2019.
