Ground facts
| Opened | not identified in sources found (Also spelled Upesciems (the actual Latvian place-name; "Upezhtsiems" is a Russian-influenced transliteration used by Rugby League Project). Capacity is disputed between sources -- the home club's own site states 300 seated, while a third-party football-ground database claims 1,000 for the wider complex; the 300 figure is used here as the better-sourced one, with the higher figure flagged rather than silently adopted. Floodlights are confirmed only for a smaller artificial pitch on the site, not for the main grass pitch most likely used for these internationals.) |
