Sourcing caveat: Try-scoring minutes and the goal-kicking split come from a single aggregator source (rugbyleagueproject.org-style match data) not independently cross-verified against a second minute-by-minute account — reasonably reliable but flagged as moderate confidence. Brisbane's exact goals-made/attempted split between Ezra Mam and Adam Reynolds is not fully itemised in sources found; only the aggregate of 2 successful goals is confirmed.

Match report

Hull KR won the World Club Challenge for the first time in their history, becoming the fifth Super League club to lift the trophy and the third straight English champion to do so. It completed a historic clean sweep of all four major honours (Super League, Challenge Cup, League Leaders' Shield and World Club Challenge) — a feat last managed by Wigan in 2024. Playing in front of a sold-out, fastest-ever-selling World Club Challenge crowd at MKM Stadium, the Robins raced into an 18-4 half-time lead, with tries from Tom Amone, Elliot Minchella, Joe Burgess and Oliver Gildart overwhelming a shell-shocked Brisbane. Peta Hiku's try just after the break stretched the lead further before Brisbane launched a stunning comeback, scoring four tries in the final quarter, including a Gehamat Shibasaki brace and further scores from Pat Carrigan and Deine Mariner, to drag themselves within touching distance. A missed Adam Reynolds conversion with around four minutes left proved pivotal, and Hull KR held their nerve to close out a 30-24 win. Hooker Jez Litten was named player of the match for his influential, high-energy performance, saying afterwards: "I'm proud to have done this for the English game." The result was described locally as a defining moment for the club and the city, and denied Brisbane a first World Club Challenge title of their own.
