Name history
Rugby league history
Cougar Stadium is a standard American high-school athletics venue that hosted rugby league for the first time on 27 February 2026, when USA Rugby League staged a historic triple-header of Men's, Women's and U19 national team matches against Scotland, timed to coincide with NRL Las Vegas season-opener activity. Organizers cited the city's sizeable Scottish-descent population as part of the rationale for the location; this is the venue's only recorded rugby league use.
