1931 NFL Season — Final Standings
Final standings, Green Bay's third consecutive championship by winning percentage, comfortably ahead of a strong rookie-season Portsmouth Spartans team. This was the last season in the league for two of the NFL's oldest continuously fielded 1920s franchises: the Providence Steam Roller and the Frankford Yellow Jackets, both undone by Depression-era finances (a stadium fire also crippled Frankford shortly before the season); neither ever fielded another NFL team.
