Rugby League: Champions ▾

Attendance: 52,293

Dane Gagai's hat-trick equalled a Queensland Origin record and effectively sealed the series with a game to spare -- Queensland's 11th series win in 12 years at the time. Sam Thaiday was placed on report (not sin-binned) for a lifting tackle. NSW's exact 14-17 jersey-number assignment for the bench (Jack Bird, Tyson Frizell, David Klemmer, Andrew Fifita) is not fully confirmed; Dylan Walker started in place of the injured Josh Morris.
