Rugby League: Champions ▾

Attendance: 49,155

Queensland, fielding 14 series debutants across the campaign and dubbed pre-series 'the worst Queensland team ever' by some media, won the series 2-1 -- Wayne Bennett's only Origin series win with Queensland. A player was sin-binned late in the match but sources conflict on who (Corey Allan or Brenko Lee have both been named) and this is not confirmed, so no sin-bin entry is recorded for this game.
