Invercargill's major civic park, today known mainly for cricket, golf and botanical gardens, whose rugby league history is confined to the sport's first three seasons in New Zealand (1908-1910): Southland's 1908 inter-district win over Otago (independently corroborated by Wikipedia), Bluff's 1910 loss to a touring Auckland side, and Southland's 1910 loss to Auckland (crowd 2,000, the top figure recorded on this site). No rugby league tenancy exists there today. No capacity, floodlight or playing-surface information was found.
