Name history
Rugby league history
The long-standing home ground of XIII Limouxin in Limoux, France, one of French rugby league's historically significant clubs -- French Championship winners in 1967-68, 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2022-23, and Coupe de France winners in 1995-96 and 2007-08, with three of its players representing France at the 1968 Rugby League World Cup. All three matches recorded on this site are English Challenge Cup ties against English opposition, all won by the visitors: Limoux narrowly beat Halifax in 2004 before losing heavily to Wigan later the same Challenge Cup campaign (crowd 2,500, the top figure recorded here), and lost to Leigh in 2010.
