Name history
Rugby league history
Stade Saint-Michel, a modest municipal ground in Canet-en-Roussillon near Perpignan, has no rugby league heritage of its own. It hosted a single Super League fixture on 19 August 2006, a 26-22 Catalans Dragons win over St Helens, only because Catalans' regular home, Stade Gilbert Brutus, was mid-renovation that season and the club dispersed home matches across several regional venues.
