Rugby league history
Aubrey Keech Reserve, on Banks Road/Dotterel Street in Hinchinbrook in Sydney's south-west, is the home ground of the Mount Pritchard Mounties, distinct from the club's separately named Mount Pritchard Oval. It has hosted Mounties fixtures across several New South Wales second- and third-tier competitions, including the NSW Cup, Jersey Flegg Cup, Ron Massey Cup, Sydney Shield and NSWRL Women's Premiership, as well as NRL under-20s matches. A 2019 round-up of Sydney rugby league grounds described it as "your quintessential park football ground" and, at the time, "the new home of the Mounties club", noting jumping castles and other family-friendly amenities set up for NSW Cup game days.
