Rugby league history
Brookvale Oval has been the Sea Eagles' home for the entirety of the club's history since 1947, taking its current sponsored name from the local 4 Pines brewery in 2021. During the ill-fated 2000-2002 Manly/North Sydney merger, played as the Northern Eagles, home games were split between Brookvale Oval and Central Coast Stadium in Gosford — an arrangement widely seen as alienating the amalgamated club's North Sydney-based supporters. The ground underwent field reshaping in the early 1970s, a new grandstand in 1995, and a Centre of Excellence plus new 3,000-seat stand completed in 2022.
