Name history
Rugby league history
Hammondville Oval in Moorebank, Sydney sits adjacent to Moorebank Sports Club and is the home ground of the community-level Moorebank Rams; sources disagree on the club's founding year, with Wikipedia giving 1955 and the club's own affiliated sports-club pages giving 1976, an unresolved conflict disclosed rather than picked. The ground's recorded fixtures are unrelated to the Rams themselves, instead hosting an international friendly between South Africa and the Philippines in 2019 and recurring NSWRL Women's Premiership matches for Canterbury-Bankstown through 2026.
