Name history
- Kianawah Road — used for rugby league 1990-91
Rugby league history
A temporary, unpopular stopgap home ground for Wynnum-Manly Seagulls during 1990-91, borrowed while the club was between permanent venues. A former Wynnum captain-coach was quoted at the time: 'We didn't even like playing at Kianawah Road last year,' contrasting it unfavourably with the club's regular, well-regarded home at Kougari Oval. Today the wider area is a multi-field public reserve used predominantly for cricket.
