Name history
Rugby league history
The two matches recorded here were a single Tooheys Challenge Cup Round 1 doubleheader on 14 February 1993: Illawarra beat Balmain 24-20, and North Sydney beat Manly 14-12, both recorded with an identical attendance of 7,256 -- almost certainly a single shared gate figure for the day rather than two separately-counted crowds. Two further NRL pre-season trial matches were played here in the 2000s (Sharks v Eels in 2004, Eels v Storm in 2006) that are not part of Rugby League Project's own venue record and are not reflected in this entry's figures, extending the ground's real rugby league history beyond 1993 even though its formally recorded top-flight matches stop there.
