Rugby league history
The home ground of the Maitland Pickers in the Newcastle-district rugby league competition. This site's own record of 11 games hosted here across 1954-2026 suggests occasional or representative use rather than a continuous top-flight home fixture list; the ground's most notable recent recorded crowd (6,836, in 2024) was for an A-League Women's soccer semi-final, not a rugby league fixture.
