Rugby league history
Marsden State High School in Logan, south of Brisbane, has served as a satellite match-hosting venue for Souths Logan Magpies' Queensland Cup fixtures since a 2018 training-and-facilities partnership between the club and the school's Centre of Excellence. Matches were recorded in 2021 and 2022, then again from 2025 under an announced three-year hosting extension, with no matches recorded at the venue in 2023 or 2024. The Magpies' traditional home ground remains Davies Park in Brisbane's West End; this venue supplements rather than replaces it, alongside supporting the school's own junior rugby league pathway programs.
