Meakin Park
Logan (Slacks Creek), Queensland, Australia
Meakin Park, Logan (Slacks Creek), Australia — opened Not confirmed (in rugby league use by at least March 1988, per Rugby League Project's match database), 161 rugby league games hosted, home of Logan Scorpions (Brisbane Rugby League / Queensland Cup, until the club disbanded after the 2002 season).
Sourcing caveat: Note: this venue should not be confused with Logan Brothers RLFC, a separate Logan-area club whose Wikipedia article gives its home ground as Civic Park, Logan Central, not Meakin Park; Meakin Park's rugby league tenant per available sources was the (now defunct) Logan Scorpions. Also, Logan Scorpions' own Wikipedia article gives 1987 as their BRL debut and 2002 as their final season, while Rugby League Project's Meakin Park results show matches from 1988 to 1996/97 -- both figures are reported as found rather than reconciled; it is possible the Scorpions played some seasons at another ground, or the venue results list is incomplete.

Rugby league history
Meakin Park, on Meakin Road in Slacks Creek within the City of Logan south of Brisbane, was the home ground of the Logan Scorpions through their run in the Brisbane Rugby League and then the Queensland Cup. Rugby League Project's match database records fixtures there from 1988 through the BRL era to 1996-97 Queensland Cup seasons, hosting a broad cross-section of South East Queensland clubs including Norths Devils, Wynnum-Manly, Ipswich Jets, Redcliffe, Wests Panthers and Easts Tigers. The Scorpions themselves are recorded as having debuted in BRL third grade in 1987 and folded at the end of the 2002 Queensland Cup season. Today the venue is a multi-sport council facility used by Logan City Rugby Union Club and junior cricket, softball and soccer associations, and served as a training venue during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup; current listings no longer show it hosting rugby league.
