Rugby league history
Norths Devils moved to this Nundah ground, bordering the Schulz Canal, in 1969, having previously played out of nearby Oxenham Park. It was named Albert Bishop Park (long known simply as Bishop Park) after club stalwart Albert Bishop, MBE, and has been the Devils' home for their entire Brisbane/Queensland Cup era since. The venue has carried a series of naming-rights sponsorships on top of its base name: a two-year deal saw it known as Pathion Park through the 2020 and 2021 seasons before reverting to Bishop Park, and in March 2026 a new three-year naming-rights partnership with the Premier Scaffolds group of companies rebranded it Premiers' Park, with the ground hosting a Hostplus Cup season-opener against the Mackay Cutters as its first match under the new name.
