Ground facts
| Opened | 2011 (Wikipedia gives 3 June 2011 as the opening date, tied to completion of a new $10 million grandstand. Austadiums instead lists the venue as opening in 2007 under the 'Stockland Park' sponsorship name, and Rugby League Project's own results database shows matches there from November 2008 (Women's World Cup 2008 fixtures) — well before the 2011 date — so the site was clearly hosting rugby league before the 2011 grandstand opening. 2011 is used here as the best-corroborated 'stadium as currently known' date, with the earlier history noted.) |

Rugby league history
A Queensland regional multi-sport venue at Kawana Waters on the Sunshine Coast that became a significant rugby league venue from the late 2000s, hosting the entire Women's World Cup 2008 tournament and serving from 2009 as the primary home venue for the region's Queensland Cup side. It has also stepped in at NRL level: Melbourne Storm used it as a temporary home ground during the 2020–2021 COVID-19 border disruptions, and it hosted its first regular-season NRL fixture in 2019 (South Sydney Rabbitohs vs New Zealand Warriors), drawing 11,912 spectators — at the time the venue's highest recorded crowd. Redcliffe Dolphins have used it as a satellite/second home venue since entering the NRL in 2023. The venue is slated for further expansion ahead of the 2032 Brisbane Olympics, where it is set to host football matches.
Part of the wider Kawana Sports Precinct (seven fields); also used for football, athletics and concerts (a 2011 Cold Chisel concert drew 15,000).
