Tumut Showgrounds, in the Riverina town of Tumut, New South Wales, was the home ground of the Tumut rugby league club across a long but intermittent history in the Maher Cup — the prestigious, challenge-format regional competition contested by South West Slopes and Riverina clubs through the interwar and postwar decades. Rugby League Project's results archive records 68 Maher Cup games at the Showgrounds, opening with a 5-0 win over Gundagai on 3 August 1921 and running, in scattered spells (the club appears in the record across the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s and into the mid-1960s), through to a 2-3 loss to Junee on 14 August 1965. The largest recorded crowd was 3,000, for a Tumut vs Young fixture on 24 July 1935.
