Name history
Rugby league history
Villanova Park is the main sporting precinct of Villanova College, a Catholic boys' school in Brisbane. It briefly entered senior rugby league history in April 2022 when the Brisbane Tigers (Queensland Cup) played two relocated home fixtures there -- beating Ipswich Jets 42-8 and Central Queensland Capras 28-14 -- while their regular ground, Langlands Park, had its grandstands demolished for redevelopment, arranged via a club partnership with the college.
