Rugby league history
This site's city note Dublin is misleading: Balreask Old is a townland on the outskirts of Navan, County Meath, roughly 50km from Dublin, and is the home ground of Navan RFC, confirmed by Wikipedia's Ireland results records which list the venue as Navan RFC, County Meath. Its sole recorded rugby league fixture was Ireland's 43-10 win over Scotland on 29 October 2004 in the European Nations Championship 2004, in front of 600 spectators, confirmed identically by Rugby League Project and Wikipedia.
