Thomond Park
Limerick, Munster, Ireland
Thomond Park, Limerick, Ireland — opened 1934, 2 rugby league games hosted, home of Munster Rugby (rugby union) -- rugby league used the ground only for two international fixtures as part of the sport's push into Ireland.
Sourcing caveat: The 2011 match's attendance shows a minor discrepancy -- Rugby League Project and Wikipedia both give 3,100, while a contemporaneous RTE news report describes the crowd as "3,000", possibly simple rounding rather than a genuine conflict.

Name history
Rugby league history
Ireland's leading rugby union stadium hosted two rugby league internationals as part of a deliberate strategy to grow the code in the country: a 5 November 2011 Ireland vs France Test (16-34, attendance approx. 3,100), and -- the ground's top crowd for rugby league, 5,021 -- Australia's 50-0 win over Ireland at the 2013 Rugby League World Cup on 9 November 2013. Contemporary Irish sports press explicitly frames the 2011 Test's success as the reason organisers pushed for Thomond Park to host the subsequent World Cup pool match, connecting the two fixtures directly.
