Beck Lane
Batley (Heckmondwike), West Yorkshire, England
Beck Lane, Batley (Heckmondwike), England — opened not confirmed, 63 rugby league games hosted, home of Heckmondwike, 1896-97 through 1901-02 (with a break in 1899-1901), Yorkshire Senior Competition/Northern Union.
Sourcing caveat: Capacity, floodlights, and surface are not confirmed in any source found. Note this venue is Heckmondwike's historic ground, not Brighouse Rangers' (whose grounds were Fink Hill, then Waterloo Road/Lane Head, later Wellholme Park and Russell Way) — an initial assumption of a Brighouse Rangers connection was checked and ruled out before writing this entry.

Rugby league history
An 1890s Northern Union ground for a small Yorkshire club (Heckmondwike) that only survived a handful of seasons in top-flight competition before folding; Heckmondwike reached Round 4 of the Challenge Cup in 1901-02 (losing 2-2 then, presumably, a replay, to Hunslet) but no evidence was found of any final or representative match hosted here. Originally used the Sir Robert Peel inn nearby for changing facilities.
