Rugby league history

A small, short-lived professional rugby league venue in the West Yorkshire town of Sowerby Bridge, near Halifax, home to a club whose senior Northern Union existence was brief (1899-1903) and largely unsuccessful — their sole Yorkshire Senior Competition season (1901-02) saw them finish 13th of 14, with points deducted for rule violations. The club left the Northern Union in July 1903 and folded shortly after.
