Rugby league history
The Panthers' home since their 1967 entry into the NSWRL, the ground has carried a long string of sponsor names. It closed in September 2024 for a $309 million redevelopment and is expected to reopen around March 2026 with capacity rising to roughly 25,000, under yet another new naming-rights deal. During the club's 2020s premiership run, the ground hosted finals fixtures including a 2022 Qualifying Final and a 2024 Quarter-Final, though neither surpassed the 2010 attendance record.
