Name history
Rugby league history
A rugby union venue near Elloughton/Brantingham, East Riding of Yorkshire, home to Hull Ionians RFC. Its rugby league history, documented only in Rugby League Project's own records and not mentioned by any football or rugby union source, comprises three Challenge Cup ties in 2006-07: East Hull's loss to Hunslet (crowd 485, the top figure recorded on this site), East Hull's loss to Oldham, and West Hull's heavy loss to Barrow -- all cases of a lower-league amateur club hiring a better-appointed ground for a tie against stronger opposition, rather than an ongoing home tenancy.
