Rugby league history
A public riverside recreation ground in Chiswick, west London, whose sports fields are the long-time home of Chiswick RFC (a rugby union club, no rugby league affiliation), hired out intermittently for rugby league fixtures across four decades — from an early Fulham RLFC Second Division game in 1985 through to amateur Challenge Cup rounds (London Chargers, then Hammersmith Hills Hoists) and a 2025 Women's Challenge Cup fixture. No notable Test or Cup Final-tier prestige fixtures have been played here — all recorded matches are amateur/community-level Challenge Cup rounds, bar the single 1985 professional fixture.
