Name history
Rugby league history
Primarily an athletics venue with a long multi-sport history; football (Bradford Park Avenue) has been a much longer-standing tenant than rugby league, whose use is recent and limited to just 4 recorded matches since 2022. In 2007 the main stand was refurbished with 1,800 seats reportedly sourced from Lord's Cricket Ground; in 2020 Bradford (Park Avenue) secured a 35-year lease to manage the facility, around the same time as the 3G pitch installation.
