Rugby league history
Iffley Road is primarily Oxford University's rugby union ground, home to the historic Varsity Match against Cambridge and various international touring-side fixtures. It briefly hosted rugby league when semi-professional club Oxford Rugby League competed in League 1 from 2013 until relocating to Tilsley Park, Abingdon in 2016 -- the two matches on file, both March 2016, fall right at the end of that tenancy.
