Ground facts
| Opened | unknown (This venue's precise identity could not be confirmed. Rugby League Project's own venue page gives no location field at all for it, and no map, street directory or news source could independently confirm a street literally named Ledgard Street in Leigh -- only the differently-named Ledgard Avenue (home of the nearby Leigh Sports Village) turned up in searches. Home club Leigh East used three different grounds across its history (Hilton Park, then this venue in 2011 only, then Leigh Sports Village from 2012), so this was evidently a genuine, separate, if poorly documented, interim ground rather than a simple typo for Ledgard Avenue -- disclosed as an open identification question rather than resolved either way.) |

Name history
Rugby league history
Ledgard Street was used by amateur club Leigh East for a single season, 2011, sitting between their long-standing earlier ground near Hilton Park and their move into the newly built Leigh Sports Village from 2012. It hosted two Challenge Cup ties that year: a 58-6 win over Heworth and a narrow 16-18 defeat to Thatto Heath.
