Western Suburbs made Lidcombe Oval their home from 1967 after moving on from Pratten Park, playing there until the 1986 season before relocating to Campbelltown. The ground briefly returned to first-grade-adjacent prominence with a 'Return to Lidcombe' exhibition match in 2018, Newtown beating Wests 23-22 after trailing by 18.
